The customer portal allows members to log in to their loyalty account directly from the business website—anytime they want. This allows businesses to launch their loyalty program before their app is ready and allows members to access their account without an app.
Login with Card Option
Logging into the customer portal is done in the same way as a user would log into the business app.
If a business migrated their existing club to Como and members had registered with membership cards (without other basic details), members will need to update their details (phone/email) before logging into the customer portal for the first time. These additional details are essential to validate login and to communicate with members.
The following steps are required to setup the Login with Card option.
STEP 1 - REGISTRATION FORM
Add a registration form field with Field Type as External Member ID, which should not be shown on the registration form.
STEP 2 - IDENTIFICATION FIELDS
Add the External Member ID field as a field for POS identification.
STEP 3 - IMPORT
For migrating existing clubs which used cards, members need to be imported by Como with their card number (which should be in the column with the name given for the registration form field from step 1).
